​Gestural Abstraction

​The development of my “Striped Art” interpretation led to “Gestural Abstraction”. The lines have detached themselves from the entire context and become independent in their own gestural strokes. The overlapping on each other led to own compositions. They are built upon layers in a harmonizing rhythm. The color consistency varies from glaze to impasto. The space in the picture is created by the light and the layers. The gestural guidance during application results in a unique character of each picture. As if they were conscious and have their own traits. An imaginary world of living strokes…
